Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University State Honours Ensemble Program - Darling Downs 2025
Over the weekend (March 14-16), four of our senior students participated in a very inspiring music camp event. The state honours ensemble programs are an educational program for music students that helps extend and encourage their pursuit of musical excellence. Students need to be nominated from their school to apply before they are then selected from a list of criteria. °µÒ¹³ÉÈËÊÓƵ has had student representatives in all state honours programs this year, and it just goes to show how much growth our students are willing to achieve.
Congratulations to Kaylee Cowan (Violin), Arts Captain Ava Nelson (Alto Saxophone), Instrumental Captain Elaine Thien (Flute) and Vocal Captain Jemma Welsh (Vocal - Soprano). We are very proud of their commitment, achievements and attitude throughout the programs
What Parents Want Survey
Dear °µÒ¹³ÉÈËÊÓƵ Families, your views are important to us.
As a parent/caregiver, your recent experience of choosing a school is insightful. °µÒ¹³ÉÈËÊÓƵ is interested to hear about what was important to you and your family before and during your decision-making process, why you chose to send your child to an independent school, and why you felt °µÒ¹³ÉÈËÊÓƵ was different from the other schools.
You are invited to complete The What Parents Want – an Independent Schools Queensland Survey. It is a longitudinal study that tracks multiple aspects of parents’ decision-making time, and the anonymous data can provide our school with insights to better understand and support prospective and new families in our community.
If you are a parent of a Prep, Year 7 and/or new student, we’d like to ask you to complete this valuable survey (approx., 15-20 minutes). Other parents are also welcome to complete the survey. The survey closes on 24 March 2025.
